Final Fantasy Type 0 is the most exciting game I ever played before

If there were any Final Fantasy out there that is more dark and gorier , it's Type 0 alright. The game itself was exciting enough to earn a HD remastered release on the US. Set in a warring country where death leads you to be forgotten , the game is pretty much about war and since people's magic only reach it's peak on their adolescent days, this game earn enough merits to be branded a Mature rating.

All 12 member of class 0 . Later Machina , rem and other NPC will join them
Since all around you is all about war, it's logical enough to think that you're also gonna be studying war. Seriously though who thought about that anyway ? Well it's not bullshit. 95% of the classes you take involve in learning to strengthen your attack, magic, and also acquired exp. Luckily , the classes you take will affect you and the rest of class zero. If not I wont be wasting my time on a game that lets you level your character individually. oh wait, You do have to individually level up . which is kind of painstakingly long without growth egg or mog's amulet

Never mess with Rem, especially after what happen to her in the end.
The battle system is an evolution of the "ATB Kai" system created for Final fantasy X-2 and later refined in Final Fantasy 7 : Crisis core. Unlike Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core, the combat is party based. Instead of navigating through the menus, actions are mapped to the face button for quick access. It supports both Ad-hoc, multiplayer for up to three players, and online Square Enix membership connection. All is good for the PSP version. Sadly the multiplayer option is not available in the HD version kupo.

What would Final Fantasy be without any side quest ? The game's own side quest called request, let's you do all of the NPC's for a nice reward. It didn't give any exp though. Some request can only be done on your second playthrough unless you're a gaming freak who level up everyone to the max or uses cheats which will ruin the fun in the game. In other  words, the second round always offer some more excitement and some reward that can only be obtained through your second playthrough. You can even find conversation that only present on your second play.

As you progress through the story, you'll noticed a lot of text change and character wise changes. Machina's optimistic and cheerful way changing into a more dark and utterly oblivious to his team except for Rem. Why he's that way ? you gotta play the game to know exactly what happen. While the game had it's goods, there are also bad ones. The camera in the PSP version is difficult at first, but with practice, it will become easier. The HD also suffers the same problem, the motion blur while changing the camera had player reporting having motion sickness, some even vomits but all of that could be bypass by locking and changing the target by using the directional button.

Square Enix had created a game so beautiful for the PSP. It had the best graphic so far and it should worth to be placed next to other titles that looked good on PSP, God Of War for an example. With the HD re-release of the game for the north america, the game had never look so better , with an improved graphic and the game combat system being revised combined with a new difficulties in it, Final Fantasy Type 0 could finally be played by everyone regardless of its level. The original game , which was release back in 2011 for Japan only, had players complained how difficult it is. This lead Square Enix to look back at it and that what lead to the release of the HD title. If you haven't picked up this game for the PSP or the PS4/Xbox One , better do it and play it. Although you wouldn't expect much if you have played the PSP version, newcomers will be astound by the beauty of this game.
